What are the fc/fs options in late June around tuolumne medows? What day should I arrive to increase my chances of finding a site?

Tuolumne Meadows, I believe is half fc/fs, just got to be there in the morning, usually is full the entire summer. Outside the eastern gate there are a few campgrounds that are fc/fs, Lake Ellery, Tioga Lake, Junction Campground, Saddlebag Lake, or down the pass there are some more within the canyon. You should be able to get a campground in the area, if they are open.

@thecondor: From what I have seen, mid-week will be your best chance. Weekends in Yosemite are nuts! I made a reservation for Upper Pines (for July) on the first morning the reservation window opened. ALL sites for the entire month were gone in 4 minutes!!!

I'm flexible as to when I can arrive, but I would like to stay about 5 days. Can we expect the campground in tuolumne to be open by the 20th of June? On the NPS web site it says expected opening in July.

Last year the campground opened father's day weekend, however this year there is more snow and the road is still closed. According to the NPS website Tioga opened May 19 last year, and the campground didnt open till a month later. So it might not open till the July estimated date on the website
