Leaving Tent Up

Hi,

I have a question, I'm hoping some of the more experienced folk can help out.
I'm putting up a large tent in Upper Pines when I visit this summer (assuming I get the permit). It is the kind of tent that sleeps 10 and takes quite a while to set up. Can I leave it up for several days, or should it be taken down each morning and put up again each evening?

I ask from the perspective of a) bears b) theft c) campground rules?

Thank you in advance.

Leave it up. Nobody I know takes their tent down each day. The risk of bears or theft are small. Don't leave any food or trash in the tent to attract bears. I've never had anything stolen from a campground after decades of camping.
