I searched and couldnt find anything so......does anyone have any experience with these things. Are the sturdy and worthwhile. We are tent camping for a family of five so would love to be able to use our fire for all our cooking. It seems that to rotate them you need to loosen the nut each time, is this correct??

Just looking and any additional info would be good. Have at it.

If you are going to be in campgrounds, most often there is a grill already there.

If you are not in campgrounds, bring a stove. Fire bans are often in place in California that prohibit building any fire outside designated campgrounds. And cooking over a fire, romantic as it sounds, ain't all it's cracked up to be, either. Stoves do a much better job than the uneven, sometimes-not-hot-enough-for-the-job, sometimes burning the food, campfire.
