Some are closed because either the Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road are closed (and campgrounds along those roads are inaccessible), or others are closed due to lack of demand. No reservations are needed, although they tend to fill up on weekends (especially Saturday night).

It's a great time to visit Yosemite--not many people there in the Fall.

The Wawona Campground is open in southern Yosemite.

Hodgdon Meadow Campground is open in northwest Yosemite

Upper Pines Campground is open in Yosemite Valley.
