Help - Accessing Mt. Dana in 2 weeks??

It sounds like Tioga Pass road will not open till the end of June. So, a couple of questions -

Is there a possibility of getting to Mt Dana by driving in/up 120 from Lee Vining in a couple of weeks? Or, does it look like 120 won't be open on the east side either?

Does it look like Dana is going to have so much snow on it in a couple of weeks, that hiking the "regular" route up wouldn't be any fun?? Postholing, crampons.....

Any insights will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Tioga is open from the East already to Tioga Pass so you can hike Dana.
Snow should be nice and consolidated.... For safety I would bring crampons and Ice Axe.

Thanks for the info. Does this mean there's parking up near the east gate/kiosk?

I don't look here much anymore. Sorry.
As you probably already found out... yes there is parking there.
Both at Gaylor Lakes TH. And just right outside the Kiosk to the east.
Dana, as you may have already found out... is not fully covered in snow
now but still has plenty on it. Hope it was fun.
