Unwise places to leave your car while backpacking?

I was wondering if there are unwise places to park your car while backpacking, obviously we won´t leave any food or scented items( to avoid bear intrusions) nor valuables ( to avoid human intrusions) in the car, but...
Does anybody have bad experiences while parking at night? Is Tuolumne meadows a secure place?
Is it possible and secure to leave the car at Sunrise Lakes Trailhead in Tenaya lake?

Thanks in advance!

I'm generally more worried about finding a parking spot than about any sort of break in. There are so many people coming and going, and rangers everywhere. There are cars sitting in the Curry Village lot that have weeds growing up in the wheel wells, and a layer of grime over the entire car, that I wonder if they have been moved in a year....

You do have to park in spots designated for backpackers. And you cannot leave your vehicle overnight on Tioga Pass after Sept 15 in fall. Leaving your car in the wrong spot, or sleeping in it, can get you a fine.

Thank you almostThere, I´ll ask in the Visitor Center anyway if I can park the car at the trailhead or I´ll park it in the backpackers´ spots.
