LOST CAMERA

On Thursday, May 26, I lost my camera in Yosemite. I lost it either on the path to Mirror Lake, at Degnan's Cafe, on the shuttle bus or at shuttle stop 13b. The camera is a Nikon Coolpix P100. It is in a generic black camera bag which also contains a battery charger, a cord for the battery charger and an extra memory card. The memory card in the camera has numerous photos in Kings Canyon, Sequoia and Yosemite (though the first two photographs are of sandhill cranes in Nebraska and the third is a Yellowstone photo display on a wall in our house). The Yosemite photos include a hike to the top of Yosemite Falls and onward to Yosemite Point, a hike to Wamapa Falls in Hetch Hetchy, photos at Camp Curry and throughout the park. The photos feature a white male and female, both about age 50 (that's us).

Anyone providing information leading to the return of the camera gets a $75 reward. Return of the memory card with photos will net a $25 reward. Return of both is a $100 reward. No questions asked. I am interested in return of the camera and memory card photos, not prosecution.

visit some of the gift shops and national park service visitor centers and ask the employees to check the lost and found. you would be surprised how many items get turned into the lost and found boxes in yosemite.
