3 & 1/2 days in JULY

I am planning a trip in mid July, and was wondering if the doctors of hiking in Yosemite could prescribe me a medication based on the following symptoms:

We are coming from SF, so we will not arrive until 1pm or so(hence, the 1/2 day).

We are looking for the most beautiful hike possible.

We are looking to avoid other people if possible.

We would also like to do a hike that isnt necissarily well defined and such(by well-defined, I mean hand-rails and water fountains, and anything else meant to accomodate tourists).

Staying in the Valley? It's hard to avoid crowds and July is the worst-if you arrive at 1pm in the valley and you have never been there I would suggest jumping on your bike and cruising the bike loop to check out the various falls-Bridelveil, Lower Yosemite etc. The loop behind the stables is closed to cars and I found it nearly void of people in July!
For a hike from the valley the 4-mile trail goes straight up to Glacier point-awesome. Again-prob alot of people but not as much as on the Nevada/Vernal/John Muir trail.

If you want to go off trail a bit there is an old lookout called Sierra point. It branches off from the Vernal/Nevad/Half Dome trail. Look at an older map or ask a ranger. The trail was obliterated by a rock fall. The point has a pano of 3 falls-cool.
