Does anyone know how I can review updates on the river swell and if Housekeeping Camp will be in the clear next weekend? It' my first trip to Yosemite and I'm really looking forward to being on the River side, but only if the likelihood of flooding is minimal! Thanks!

Hey Janie,

You should be good next weekend, but here are the same websites from the other post on the subject:

NOAA for weather, temperatures, and any flooding advisories out to 7 days in advance.

http://f1.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat= ... RB1GvQrLrc

USGS stream data for Merced River at Pohono bridge showing volume and level relative to flood stage of 10 ft. I believe the models can be projected out at least several days ahead if you reset the fields.

https://waterdata.usgs.gov/ca/nwis/uv/? ... cy_cd=USGS

Yosemite NPS current conditions and advisories, with links to campground info and Yosemite Hospitality (the concessionaire), as well as a visitor info number at the bottom of the page.

https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/conditions.htm

Put them all together and you have a good idea of what is and will be. You'll have fun. If you plan on going up to the base of all the waterfalls, be sure to bring full rain gear or you're going to be soaked.

Lows at night will be in the low 40s and feel colder. You'll want warm blankets and a nice warm hat to sleep in.
