The trail around the lake is fine, if the falls aren't really raging hard. The bridges in front of Wapama will be dangerous during the snow melt. You probably won't encounter snow until you are past Rancheria and uphill, either toward Tiltill or heading toward northern Yosemite. Snowmelt and mosquitos will be the issue for a while. Hetch Hetchy is low enough that heat can become an issue, if hiking between 11 am - 4 pm in the open sun on granite. Watch for rattlesnakes and poison oak.
