I'm been camping with the Hilleberg Savio for many years in many adverse climates but I plan to go during the winter and would the tent fit this climate?

Yes, as would most Four Season tents (tents with a full rain fly and full walls (not just mosquito netting). Sierra Nevada winters are relatively mild compared with other mountain ranges, such as the Northeast U.S., Canada, Alaska, or U.S. Rocky mountains. The weather isn't as cold, and days are often sunny and warm.

That said, you still have to be prepared for winter storms.
