Having never been to Yosemite I am looking for a lovely, quiet campground for late april. Does anyone know of a place with lovely views and without too many people? I don't have an RV. Thanks for your time!

I recommend Hodgdon Meadow (northwest Yosemite) or Wawona (southwest Yosemite). Wawona is warmer (because it's lower) and next to a river. Hodgdon Meadow is colder and in a forest. Both are popular in summer but in the spring are under-used and quiet.

Avoid any of the Pines Campgrounds in the Valley. They are crowded and have lots of uncontrolled, loud kids running around late into the nite.
