I'm looking to camp for 2 nights with 3 friends at Yosemite. I shorlisted it to Hodgdon Meadow, Wawona, Upper Pines and Camp 4. Am I right that all of them are available for $14/night and per first come first served basis at this time of the year?
Also any other tips would be helpful! TQ

All valley campsites are first come, first serve in winter.

There is some snow.

You need warm sleeping bags AND warm insulated sleeping pads. Bears are still active so follow all rules regarding food storage. If you intend to hike anywhere you may want to have traction devices, waterproof boots, warm layered clothing.

Have a good time. You probably will have some neighbors, but it shouldn't be crowded.

Thanks! So are you suggesting valley campsites like Upper Pines and Camp 4? What about Hodgdon Meadow and Wawona? Are they colder since they're located at higher altitudes?

all campsites in river bottoms are cold. All the sites will be about the same, so far as temperature. The higher you are, the more snow there will be. The valley in winter is beautiful and why not stay there when the crowds are gone?
