leaving shampoo/soap/clothes in car while hiking overnight

hello again,

I saw on the Yosemite website that you shouldn't leave food in your car, and I'm wondering if I can leave luggage in the car, which will include small containers of shampoo/cosmetics/vitamins -- wrapped in plastic bags, of course-- and clothes. I would leave this stuff in the trunk for a few days while I hike the Sierra Loop.

Do I need to store my luggage in a bear locker, and if so, where are the bear lockers?

thanks

You shouldn't leave anything that has an odor in your car: shampoos, lotions, toothpaste etc. Clothing should be fine. Don't leave anything that looks like a cooler either, bears know what they are and go for them even if there's nothing in it. There are bear lockers at most parking lots.
