Water in the North Rim 2014

Postby newhiker » Mon Aug 18, 2014 10:57 pm

I have a permit to backpack on the North Rim, starting at Big Oak Flat Road and hiking the El Capitan Trail to Yosemite Falls. 3 days, 2 nights. I'm worried about water access on the trail. Does anyone know if there is water available along the trail, in either Wildcat Creek, Tamarack Creek, Cascade Creek, Ribbon Creek, or Eagle Peak Creek?

Ever get a reply to this? Did you do your hike yet? I'm planning pretty much the same hike except a little further. I want to come down at snow creek. I should've asked but all I know is yosemite falls is 'dry' so I don't know about the water farther up. Thanks.

Also, where did you set up your tent each night? Thanks
