I'm hiking the north rim starting at the old big oak flat rd trailhead and hoping to go across the rim and come back down at snow creek. Just wondering where good camping spots are. I've heard of the one at snow creek. That would be the second night hopefully. Any good ones for the first night? Maybe near el cap? Also, does anyone have updated info on the water available along the north rim? And just to pass it along (it is stated on the YNP site too) there is no parking at trailheads off tioga rd as of oct 15 so if you're starting or ending a hike from a trailhead off of it you'd need a ride. And even then you only have possibly a short window since the road can be closed at any time now based on the weather. Thanks

Check with the Wilderness office, but Cascade Creek, Tamarack Creek, and Yosemite Creek were all dry a week ago...
Check our our website: http://www.backpackthesierra.com/
Or just read a good mystery novel set in the Sierra; https://www.amazon.com/Danger-Falling-Rocks-Paul-Wagner/dp/0984884963
