First trip suggestions

Postby jwalk88 » Tue Jan 06, 2015 1:21 pm

I'm looking for suggestions for my first backpacking trip. My girlfriend and I have done a few moderate hikes in Yosemite (cathedral, harden, lookout, mist) and want to start taking it to the next level. We are in good shape but for this first run we want a simple over night with 6-10 miles per day. This should give me plenty of time to deal with all my new gear. From what ive read on here glen aulin sounds nice but i'm open for suggestions. Also, if I go in May will I miss the high mosquito season? thanks for ant
