Snow Creek / Yosemite Falls Loop

Postby thephotomatt » Fri Mar 13, 2015 12:07 pm

Hi All- was wondering if anyone might have the total mileage the following hike:

Start: Mirror Lake trailhead
-Ascend Snow Creek Trail
-Stop by North Dome
-Stop by Yosemite Point
-Descend Yosemite Falls Trail
End: Yosemite Falls trailhead

I plan on doing this as a long dayhike when visiting next month.

Thanks all!

Not a problem if you are in shape. Have done it several times in both directions, Weather in the next month can be dicey and you may be coming down Yosemite Falls trail in the dark, based on your hiking speed.

Thanks for the heads up...good news is I will be carrying a headlamp with me. I'll definitely keep my eyes on the weather patterns.

How did you like this loop trip? And how long did it take you? Were you averaging around 2.5-3 mph?
