oh yeah i didn't thought of that, i would've brought an empty 20-30oz bottle my stove.
good thing you reminded me that!
i should be alright with my bear canister or does that also count as a bottle? (wouldn't want to have to leave it at the airport just to save 5$)

No, just the fuel. Since it sounds like you're going to be using white gas, make sure there's no fuel left in the burner head or lines of your stove. TSA people have been known to smell it and decide whether to let it through or not based on that. And if you're bringing freeze dried food in foil pouches from home, to keep them from possibly rupturing, make sure you you poke a pinprick hole into them to relieve the pressure during the flight.

wouldn't want to leave that expensive gear at the airport.

what are your (many) best memories or favorite hike in yosemite?
would be nice to hear some stories of experienced hikers!
