Hiking in Late April

This is our first trip to Yosemite and we are vising from April 21 st to 24th.We are staying in the Yosemite lodge.What are your suggestions for good day hikes?

See the falls. Hike to the base of Lower Yosemite Falls (1/2 mile), see Mirror Lake (1 mile), and Vernal and Nevada Falls (several miles--a half day or all day, respectively). Also, hike along the north side and south side trails running east-west along the Yosemite Valley.

If you want longer hikes, hike to the top of Yosemite Falls. I also recommend the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point, except in April it's probably closed by snow and ice.
