4 day hike advice

Postby zisbk80 » Mon May 19, 2008 9:57 am

Need some advice on a 4 day hike that would offer the most fishing in Yosemite. I can handle moderate hikes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Trip dates are June 22-27.
Thanks for the help!!

Doesn't look like Tuolumne to Yosemite Valley is an option. :x

Keep in mind that Yosemite han't been stocked in years, so when researching where to go note the date of the report. Lot of areas that may have been great ten years ago have no fish in them now. For example, the Ten lakes area is good, but only 3 of the lakes still have fish in them. If you are fly fishing, the streams can really expand your opportunities between the lakes. Expect lots of Brookies; Man i can't wait to get back up there.... :D

Thanks for the reply. We decided on Lillian Lake as it has been rated favorably for trout. Have you ever done that loop?
