wild fires/brown skies

I live on the Oregon/California border. We have had brown skies on several days this year, sometimes the smoke infiltrates into the streets and views are extremely limited. Has Yosemite been effected by the 800+ Northern CA wildfires? Are views obscured? On the positive, have crowds thinned out this summer?
I'm considering changing my plans if we have to endure more brown skies and smoky woods.

I was up on Tioga road last weekend and the high country wasn't too bad at all, but the brown smoke FILLED the canyons down low (especially the Hetch Hetchy area)... Yuck.

Hi Honsing,
I'll let you know how it is when I return on 7/26 if that isn't too late.

Just did a four day loop from Elizabeth Lake to Emerick to Bernice
to Florence and back out of Rafferty Creek.
There has been some rainshowers and it has cleared the skies.
Very very clear now.... very beautiful.

All I can say about the crowds is that the Tuolumne Campground was full
when we started our hike on 7/18. Pretty sure it was full on 7/21 when
we left.
If you are going into the highly popular areas I would
expect normal to above normal crowds. I wouldn't expect crowds to
lighten until after Labor Day.
That being said, you can easily find solitude... We did not see a single
person on the first day of our trip. Not until we reached Vogelsang
did we see anyone (day2)... And again, on day 3... not a soul... until
Vogelsang Lake...
Anyway, come and enjoy!
