Looking for backpacking partner Sept. 7-12

Postby Wickett » Fri Aug 15, 2008 11:45 am

I am going to Yosemite Valley for a backpacking trip and am looking for someone to accompany me. All my other hiking partners have to work, and I am not missing out on one more trip. I will arrive on the 7th and get whatever trailhead I can, staying until the 12th at the latest. I am parking in the valley and will be returning there. I do not have a specific route planned, I am pretty flexable. I am preparing many different routes depending on which trainhead I get.

I have backpacked here before, from the valley to merced lake in one day, then all the way back out the next. I plan on an easier trip, taking my time and really enjoying it.

For those who might be gear limited, I do have some extra stuff.
