Doing a short trip this weekend. Tioga Road (Lukens Lake south) then west along the north rim, exit at Big Oak Flat TH. Any reports on the water availability once I move away from Yosemite Creek? Any water still flowing around El Cap? Ribbon Creek or Cascade Creek?

Ribbon Falls and Cascade Creek were dry as a bone when we drove by them last weekend.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on taking a lot of extra capacity.

Bear in mind that we were seeing these creeks where they crossed the road (Cascade) or came of the rim (Ribbon). It's possible that there is water higher up...

Quick update. Ribbon did have some good flow. I was able to see it prior hitting the trail from the Valley floor with binoculars. When we actually crossed it on the trail there was quite a good flow. There was actually some other trickles of water other places too. More water than I expected, so were were fine.
Great little trip but it was hot and buggy. Swam in Yosemite Creek to cool off. Camped at Eagle Peak which was great. Awesome views of the comet even with the naked eye. Thanks for the input.

Cool! And thanks for the trip report. Always good to hear when people get out and make it work

Do you have any photos? He asked hopefully...
