future hike

I am looking to do a 4 day 3 night hike the last week of May. I was thinking of starting at Tenaya lake and hitting clouds rest and spend at least one night around the sunrise lake area. I am not very familar with that area and I am looking for some things to do and see on the trip. I am looking for some suggestions. HELP.

I wouldn't set this in granite since it's quite possible that Tioga Road
may not be open by end of May. The last couple of years it has been
since we didn't have huge snow.

This is one suggestion:
Camp at Sunrise Lakes for the entire time.
Day 1 - to Sunrise
Day 2 - Day hike to Clouds and back (8 miles)
Day 3 - Day hike to Upper Cathderal Lake and back (10 miles)
Day 4 - out

I would say this is an "easy" trip even with the elevation since the
mileage is not much. It should give you plenty of time to relax
at the Lakes and really enjoy the day hikes.

You'll need to keep an eye on when Tioga Road is going to open.
Since this is early in the year a permit may not be tooo bad to get.
This trailhead is one of the very busy trailheads in the park so
you'll need to plan accordingly... (make a reservation if you MUST
go)

Have fun
