"We have a family backpack with permits from White Wolf TH; we would like to go to Ten Lakes , but distance is too far for this less experienced group. Is there any decent campsite at upper Yosemite Creek where the trail from White Wolf/Lukens intersects the Ten Lakes trail 5+ miles in?"

IMy admittedly older map of the park shows that once you get about a mile past Lukens Lake, you are legal to camp. I know that half Moon Meadow is large, and there are places you can camp around the edges (Not in themiddle of the meadow!)
