Unfortunately the current 20+ generation has no respect for National Treasures.
I cannot confirm it but there were a couple of drunk rubes that managed to get into the Pupfish pool in Death Valley and killed a couple by wading in it. They are an endangered species. I busted my butt trying to locate them, based on the security camera footage. They were identified on a Forum and caught but basically got a slap on the wrist.
Same goes for the Racetrack in Death Valley some rubes went out onto it and drove all over it.. WTF is wrong with people these days

That ws a few years ago, but yes, the pupfish vandals were identified and caught.
