Bear Boxes at HSC's ?

Postby SteveH » Mon Jan 19, 2009 10:34 am

Happy New Year

We were lucky enough to win a five day hiking slot through the HSCs. While we'll be eating bkfst/dinner @ the camps we'll be carrying our own trail food for lunch toiletries, etc. I strongly suspect there are bear boxes to secure this kind of stuff while sleeping at nite in the HSCs but can anyone confirm this?

thanks

The HSCs have a locker or some provision to secure guest food (and their own food stocks!).

The backpacker campgrounds next to each HSC also have bear boxes.
