Yeah I know another bear question. lol I plan on leaving my car in the valley for 2 days while I hike from Tenya back down. If I leave extra mre's and toiletries in the car for that time will it be safe? If not can I lock it in a locker? I've heard food gets stolen out of them if you dont put a lock on them but in turn I've heard your frowned upon if you do lock it up. I don't want the rental opened up like a tin can!

I've heard the bears are pretty bad this year especially in the valley. Best bet is to put it in the bear box, hopefully nothing gets stolen.

I remove EVERYTHING that isn't nailed down into the bear locker. I include anything that looks "interesting", like my fire extinguisher. 8)
