backpacking recommendations?

Postby whitc101 » Wed Mar 25, 2009 6:27 pm

Hi all,
A few friends and I are looking into some backpacking trips for our spring break. We haven't been to Yosemite before, so I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for winter backpacking routes that would be available this time of year. We'd like something at about an intermediate level, 2-4 days of hiking or snowshoeing. Any ideas?

Well... if you WANT to go snowshoeing you might want to consider
just going to Badger Pass and then heading out towards either:
- Glacier Point
- Ostrander
- Dewey Point

Or you can park at the Tuolumne Grove and just head up 120 as far as
your heart desires.

I can probably tell you how LYV area is after next weekend first hand..
