canyoneering piute creek

Postby newtc » Fri Jan 05, 2018 2:11 pm

Hello,
Looking for any TR or information on canyoneering decent of piute creek below Pleasant Valley.
I have seen the ropewiki page on this canyon, but can't find anything else.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

Can't really help you. IT's very steep. That's why the trail goes around that section. You might have better luck asking this question over at Yosemite News and Discussion. They have a couple of people over there who love steep granite.
Check our our website: http://www.backpackthesierra.com/
Or just read a good mystery novel set in the Sierra; https://www.amazon.com/Danger-Falling-Rocks-Paul-Wagner/dp/0984884963

K thanks. Appreciate the reply the Internet is devoid of info on this except for one page, which is why I'm curious. I'll try on the other forum.
