Mosquitos?

Will be in the park 1st week of August. Will mosquitos be a problem?
Life's a trip...pack accordingly.

What time of the year are Mosquitos actuve in TMeadows?

They become active after the snow melts and it gets warm. Usually mid-June. They die away when the ground isn't soggy any longer. Usually early August, except for a few places. Basically they are history by late August. No guarantees though!

I wear long sleeve shirts, a mosquito net for the head around evening, and stay away from soggy areas.
