park pass question

I will be entering the park at about 7 am on saturday... will there be anyone at the gate to issue a park pass??? how do you get one if there's not a ranger on duty.. thanks guys

The park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If there's nobody there at the entrance station, you get in free. You pay on the way out (if there's anyone there).

In other words, the gate is not closed at night (unless there's some road closure or natural disaster).
