Curry Village in February

Postby petho » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:03 pm

Does anyone know if the restaurant and bar are open during the winter?
How about the little store and the sporting goods store?

Thanks!

The Curry Village cafeteria and bar (including Pizza and Coffee Corner) are open in winter. So are the store and the Mountain Shop. The taco stand and ice cream stand are closed in Winter.

The cafeteria is not open in winter. The pizza deck is open limited hours and days in winter. In Feb, when you are going, it is open Fridays 5-9pm and Sat from noon to 9. Also open Noon to 9 on President's weekend. The grocery and Mountain Shop are also open. Check the Yosemite guide for more info. http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/upload/yg13-1.pdf t

EDIT the grocery store is undergoing major renovations and is currently closed.

We are going up this weekend Mar 1st, is the store still closed?
I need to know how much food to bring.

I was there 2 weeks ago and the Camp Curry store was about to close after the weekend for renovations, so will be closed for awhile.

However, you can go to the (much larger) grocery store in Yosemite Village instead. It's only a mile away.

I would not plan to buy a lot of food at the Village store, it is much too expensive to make it your main source for food.
