Rental car parking in Yosemite Valley

Planning to drive from Las Vegas to Half Dome village August 26 or 27. Where could / should I park the car and leave it safely for 5 days?

In the designated trailhead parking lots - either the one at Half Dome Village or the one down the road marked "trailhead parking." Clean the car of anything that smells remotely like food, trash, boxes, bags, ice chests, even if they do not contain actual food, and store them in the bear lockers until your return.
