Glacier point trail - open?

howdy, checking on conditions, if anyone knows, of the trail to GP - i see the road is still closed - if the trail is closed, (i understand there is a gate) - how far up the trail can you get until you get to the gate?
we're looking the be in the park May 20 -

The four mile trail is gated three miles up. And yes, it's closed.
