I would really appreciate any input from those experts on Yosemite's current conditions.. We had a 8-9 day 60 mi hike planned 6/22 coming back into the valley on 6/30.. Originally, we planned to do the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River with a loop thru Bald Mountain, Tamarack flat and ending in the valley... heard about the severe flooding along the Tulomne river and scrubbed that plan... than we were looking at a loop in the south of the park.. spoke w/ the rangers who gave a grim picture of the conditions south of the valley as well.. We are physically fit and have done long backpacking trips before.. but not mountaineering experts. We would have a GPS.. We are now looking at forgetting this backpacking trip to Yosemite altogether at this point.. any suggestions on any routes that might be somewhat decent that might shed some possibility here? We do not mind the snow but 3+ feet deep for miles and no trail markers / slushy swamp lands / flooding with dangerous river crossings will be miserable. Thank you so much!

You could always do the rims of the Valley.
