Red Peak Pass/Post Peak Pass

I am planning a trip over Red Peak Pass departing Mono Meadow on July 15. I have been warned about the heay snowfall this year. I am wondering if anyone has any input on what I might expect conditions to really be. Also, I have been looking at crossing Fernandez Pass and Post Peak Pass as an alternative since Post Peak Pass is several hundred feet lower in elevation. Any thoughts would be appreaciated.
