Postby resttomorrow » Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:53 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know the hours for this Sunday? Also what are their options for fuel canisters (size)? I have a little jetboil stove Ill need to get fuel for.

I tried calling a few times and no answer.

Thanks!!

The Mountaineering Shop behind the gas station (just west of the store/grill area) will have gas canisters. These are very common for several kinds of backpacking and camping stove. I have a JetBoil stove and it fits multiple canister sizes

You just want one with the screw-type top--"Lindal valve" (not the old fashioned rubble nipple top or even older Gaz puncture-type top). Don't worry about brand--they are all interchangable.

The Yosemite Guide has current operating hours. Click on the latest issue listed (a PDF file). Then scroll down to "Tuolumne Meadows." It has lots of other information too in there:
