Tioga Road closed as a result of this storm. I wanted to do Clouds Rest this weekend. The storm should clear up soon and it will be sunny on Friday. How long do they take to re-open Tioga Rd? Also, if I can't do anything in the TM area, does anyone have any recommendations for a quick 3 day trip (friday-sunday)? I don't mind a little snow on the trails.

It opens when they open it - when they decide the snow has melted off the roads sufficiently so that foreigners can safely drive rented RVs over it.
Probably soon, but I suspect not til next week. Best way to keep track is to call the info line.
