Bears and diapers

Postby Bruce Deacon » Wed Jul 18, 2012 7:40 pm

Just wondering...I will be hiking with my 9 year old and he wears a pull up diaper when he sleeps. Will bears be attracted to the smell of urine? I am really hoping to avoid having to store wet diapers in my bear canister:)

Don't worry about the bears. Once October comes around I take a "pee bottle" with me
and I have it within arms reach always. Never an issue. (In case you're wondering...
it's a 1 litre nalgene bottle... and once the sun goes down... I do not want to get out
of my sleeping bag... ) :)
