I've completely abandoned the Hetch Hetchy idea. Maybe I'll do that another year. I'll be doing Yosemite Valley in early June and Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley in Mid August.

Here is the information for the second trip. There is nothing further I need to do to get a Half Dome permit, correct?

Entry Date: 08/17/2013
Entry Trailhead: Cathedral Lakes
Exit Date: 08/20/2013
Exit Trailhead: Happy Isles->Little Yosemite Valley
Number in Party: 1
Number hiking Half Dome: 1
Number of Stock: 0

Half Dome permitting has changed again. There's a box on the permit form to check if you want to do that.

The page is here: http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/hdwildpermits.htm

Right, and I checked that and the email confirmation I received included "Number hiking Half Dome: 1"

Does this mean I will receive a Half Dome permit when I pick up the reservation...no other applications required?
