Does anyone know when the JMT opens above Clark Point?
It was still closed two weekends ago. When does it usually open up?

It is still gated, usually is until late april. But i doubt there is any ice. Snow patches exist along the ends of switchbacks but it was a warm spring day last saturday, and tourists were jamming the misttrail which is hardly misty at all, not icy, yet still gated.

For anyone interested, this portion is the trail is still closed but is VERY passable.
