Early June 4 night backpacking

Postby swilliams23 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 12:14 pm

Hi all,

I'm taking my Mountainman Colorado boyfriend to Yosemite for the first time June 2-6 to do some backpacking. I really would love to do a nice long loop in Tuolumne, but I'm worried the road won't be open then. I was thinking we could hike from the Valley or Glacier Point to Tuolumne, but then I'm worried about getting back if the road is closed. Does anyone know any alternative and beautiful areas that are doable in early June?

Thanks!

Sarah

Why don't you just hike back to the valley floor?
