Nelson lake to Cathedral creek

Has anybody hiked off trail from Nelson lake down echo creek to cathedral creek. whats the terrain like.

Terain near Nelson isn't bad, a lot of light forest/brush but able to find your way along the creek. The lower you get, the thicker it is but still doable. I've done it the opposite way and it was a challenge at first but not difficult.
