The hiker bus (not a shuttle) runs from the valley to Tuolumne Meadows until September 14. There are no free shuttles connecting those areas. YARTS runs until September 28 - see fares and schedules at yarts.com.

As for the rest - it's hard to say whether the miles and elevation will agree with you. That's a personal equation we each solve on our own.

If you can't quite make the first destination, there are campsites in Lyell near the trail junction.

My thoughts? That's a long first day, particulary after you have to catch the bus. And then the next two days could easily be done in one day. Fletcher to Bernice can't be more than about four miles total. If you do go to Bernice, use the afternoon to explore the lakes above it.

Not sure you will want to camp right at Fletcher anyway--it's right next to Vogelsand HSC, and there will be a lot of people wandering around there...

And Merced lake out to the Valley is a long hike, admittedly downhill, but you might want to camp at Little Yosemite Valley if you are planning to drive back to SF that evening.
