Late on permits

I have just applied for permits for cathedral lakes, and it is probably to late for the end of August. I have heard that it may be possible to get permits for chain lakes but under the trail head entry I do not see a chain lakes option. Can anyone help me as to which direction to go from here.

Hmmm. I'm not familiar with Chain Lakes. But find the nearest trailhead to the one you're using.
