Hey Mav,

Why? He's passed and his body discovered. Is there a question as to whether foul-play was involved and an ongoing matter of safety for others?

I won't make any conjectures; they requested me to get this out to the outdoor communities, so I am Phil.

I understand, but a request for info on a decedent is rare. Otherwise, as usual, I would have left your post stand alone without question or comment.

All SAR activities are open law enforcement investigations until there is a conclusion. I suspect there was evidence that led to questions that have not been answered, so they want help to answer them.
