I hope to hike up to the lake in one of his more famous paintings at some point in the coming year.

We did hike up to the lake that is named of rhim last year. It's up the Lake Elizabeth Trail out of Tuolumne Meadows. And somehow it captures a bit of his style---lots of talus, lots of blues and grays. It's a nice hike!
