Q re Use of Food Storage boxes in Valley campgrounds

Postby OnTheRoad_Seattle » Sat Aug 25, 2018 8:34 am

I have a camper van with built in cabinets including a small RV refrigerator which is powered by rooftop solar panels. Will I be able to keep my food in the refrigerator?

From https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/bears.htm

Food may be stored out of sight in hard-sided trailers and RVs, as long as windows, doors, and vents are closed when you're not there. Food may not be stored in pop-up or tent trailers, or other soft-sided campers.
